You see them invariably calm, accepting and waiting patiently in the poses they chose. Often with male/female pairs together in loving poses, sometimes with children or pets. These are the mile(s) high tranche of giants. The 50 footers were of a different era.

What I will do is recommend to all that they seriously investigate the equally gigantic tree stumps that are also all over the planet. Those trees were in proportion to the enormous giants, as current trees are in proportion to us. The giants are clothed, some of them quite finely, thank you. They were not savages living out in the elements. Ergo, they had living quarters that would still be easily identifiable as ruins of such. Yet none are seen. I suggest that they lived in those gigantic trees, in finely constructed tree houses. Also suggest that the trunks and limbs of those trees were burned by whoever cut them down, removing the evidence of arboreal abodes.
