It has been eating me up as to what @Snowden's purpose was in China. I see there is now an assumption about Mrs. Zuckerberg and Mark.

An assumption (not even a best, not even hardly a best) is that after @Snowden’s primary objective of compromising NSA strategy/tactics, his secondary mission was to be in China and act as a broker of sorts (for Super-Secret things; SAPs, tech, intel). You know, undermining the U.S. make that $$$ for the boys back home (and maybe a teensy-weensy fee for himself). MI6?
Was that the role of John Perry Barlow “the BRIDGE”? Bridging exactly what? Bad guy? Was he trying to get Assange? Wiley Coyote and The Road Runner?
What about Russian GRU; Main Intelligence Directorate. Would @Snowden go to the Russian DIA to broker deals, arrange stuff and things, test the waters of cooperation with the Reds? Cooperating on what?
And one thing I know that IS important, for one reason or another, was the role of Brad Birkenfeld (& Scott Bennett) slamming the door of Swiss bank secrecy f** shut, or at least bringing scrutiny to it. Birkenfeld wrote a letter to then CENTCOM #1 Commander Mattis basically saying ‘did you not get my memos?’ Snowden was in Geneva doing CIA things when stuff happened to Birkenfeld. Swiss accounts were used to transfer money to extremist terrorist fronts and of course for laundering.
