Customs agents seize $95M in counterfeit goods along with thousands of fake IDs

U.S. customs agents in Louisville, KY announced Wednesday they have seized illegal items worth more than $95 million since Sept. 1.

The announcement came just days after U.S. Customs and Border Protections said they had confiscated around 5,000 fake IDs.

Since Sept. 1, agents have intercepted and seized 164 shipments worth 75% more than seizures from 2018 at this time, according to a statement Wednesday from Customs and Border Protection.

If the seized items, including designer bags, jewelry, shoes and sunglasses, were real, they would be worth $95,600,000, according to CBP.

“Driven by the rise in E-commerce, the market for counterfeit goods in the United States has shifted in recent years from one in which consumers often knowingly purchased counterfeits to one in which counterfeiters try to deceive consumers into buying goods they believe are authentic,” Thomas Mahn, Louisville Port director, said in a statement.

“Often times the counterfeits are priced competitively just below a genuine product to avoid scrutiny by the consumer. The consumers are unaware that they’re buying a dangerous product as the Counterfeit is just that good,” Mahn said.

CBP officials said in a statement that counterfeiting sales can be traced to organized crime, drug trafficking and terrorist organizations.

“These counterfeits are often compromised of toxic substances such as lead, methanol, antifreeze, urine, arsenic, mercury and cancer causing substances,” according to Mahn.

CBP officials announced Monday they had seized 5,000 fake IDs making their way through Louisville.

According to a statement from CBP, six shipments originating in China and heading to New York contained 2,909 fake drivers licenses and 3,123 blank cards that are used to make counterfeit licenses from states including Florida, Michigan, Illinois, New Jersey and Ohio.

According to CBP, one of the confiscated shipments was headed to a person convicted of child rape in New York.

“Some of the major concerns as it relates to fraudulent identity documents is identity theft, worksite enforcement, critical infrastructure protection, fraud linked to immigration-related crimes,” Mahn said in a statement.

Virginia Gun Owners Could Face Felony Charges Under New 'Paramilitary Activities' Amendment

A proposed amendment to a 30-year-old Virginia law would make it illegal to bring a firearm to any gathering if it can be proven that the goal was to 'intimidate any person or group of persons by drilling, parading, or marching with any firearm."

In short, if someone brings a firearm to a permitted event such as the ill-fated United the Right rally, and it can be argued that their goal was to intimidate Antifa counter-protesters as opposed to carrying in self-defense, that person could be subject to Class 5 felony charges under the amendment introduced by State Senator Louise Lucas (D-18th District).

The amendment stems from a lawsuit brought against Unite the Right organizer (and professional provocateur) Jason Kessler and several militia groups, accusing them of violating the state's existing statute governing "unlawful paramilitary activity." As a result of the lawsuit, "eleven named defendants had signed consent decrees in which they are “permanently enjoined from returning to Charlottesville, Virginia, as part of a unit of two or more persons acting in concert while armed with a firearm, weapon, shield, or any item whose purpose is to inflict bodily harm, at any demonstration, rally, protest, or march.”," according to IREHR.

Of note, the statute does not declare tactical training illegal as has been reported elsewhere, as the existing law - which has been on the books more than 30 years - already makes it illegal if someone "teaches or demonstrates to any other person the use, application, or making of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device" if said training "will be employed for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder."

Given that most firearms instruction is intended for self-defense in all situations and not specifically during "civil disorder," we don't envision Virginia authorities barging in on training courses anytime soon.

The amendment can be seen below. New portions are italicized.

L.A. Times: Adam Schiff’s Gay Lover Makes Claims Of Abuse February 11, 2018

Los Angeles, CA- Los Angeles Times reporter and assistant managing editor, Kristina Bellatori dropped another bombshell in what can only be described as the ongoing US Congressional and political sex and domestic violence scandal this afternoon.

“The Rob Porter domestic violence fiasco seems to have turned more than just the White House upside down,” Bellatori told The Net Spies via Skype. “Not only has everything been turned upside down, but it seems that abuse victims are literally falling from the sky.”

Bellatori was contacted by Will Bottom, who claims to be the gay lover of California Congressman, Adam Schiff. “Will contacted me and told me that he had been a victim for too long and wanted to speak out,” Bellatori told us. “Mr. Bottom stated that he has been Mr. Schiff’s gay lover for many years and has endured a plethora of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.”

Bellatori went on to quote Mr. Bottom. “I call Adam, Shih-Tzu, cuz it sounds like his name and he looks like one. Anyway, Shih-Tzu always tells me that my stuff is too small and I don’t pound him hard or deep enough. That hurts my feelings, man. Then he beats me up with his little fists if I don’t get him off just right. I have put up with a lot of crap from him, but I love him, man. He has even pimped me out to his friends on many occasions. I never really minded him pimping me out too much until he made me hook up with Bernie Sanders. That dude smell like moth balls or something.”

Mr. Bottom provided Bellatori with several pictures, most taken by Schiff, that showed the horrific extent of Schiff’s cruelty and perversion. “Anyone who treated an animal in such a manner would find themselves with a lengthy jail sentence,” related Bellatori. “This is a human being. It seems like high time to start holding these politicians accountable for their sick, vulgar, and reprehensible behaviors.”

The Rush To A Cashless Society Only Serves Globalist Interests

fundamental pillar of true free markets is the existence of choice; the availability of options from production to providers to purchase mechanisms without interference from governments or corporate monopolies. Choice means competition, and competition drives progress. Choice can also drive changes within society, for if people know a better or more secure way of doing things exists, why would anyone want to stay trapped within the confines of a limited system? At the very least, people should be allowed to choose economic mechanisms that work best for their particular situation.

This is NOT how our society functions today, and free market do not exist anywhere in modern nations including the US. Whenever I hear someone (usually a socialist) blame free market “capitalism” for the oppressive ailments of the world, I have to laugh. The alliance between governments and corporate monopolies (what Mussolini called national socialism or fascism) makes free markets utterly impossible. What we have today is an amalgamation of socialist economic interference and corporatocracy. Our system is highly restrictive and micro-managed for everyone except the money elites, who do not have to follow the same rules the rest of us do.

Of course, I might be preaching to the choir when it comes to these issues. But, there are some underlying developments being pushed forward by globalists hell-bent on a one world monetary system and a one world government that even many liberty activists are not fully aware of.

In alternative economic circles, the US dollar is seen as the end-all-be-all of fiat currency dominance. Many activists see it as the key to the power of the global elites and they think the Federal Reserve is the top of the globalist pyramid. This is not exactly true.

The US dollar is itself just another tool of the banking cabal, and tools sometimes lose their usefulness over time. While it could be said that for the past several decades the dollar as the world reserve currency was the core of globalist influence, this is about to change and we can see the signs today. The rush towards a cashless society in the past few years is startling and unfortunately too many liberty activists have been suckered into thinking that it's is a good thing.

There are a number of reasons for this. As mentioned above, activists see the dollar (or Fed note) as fuel for the globalist machine, and so obviously they would like to see it go down in flames. They also are generally proponents of free markets, and the exploding trend of cryptocurrencies has given them the illusion that “choice” is returning to economy through “monetary competition”. I understand the basis for this attitude, and I appreciate where it's coming from. I also have never been a proponent of the dollar or any other central bank fiat system. This article should not be misinterpreted as a defense of dollar hegemony.

That said, there is a much bigger agenda at play here, and the dollar is only one fading part of it as it is being quietly replaced by a completely digital framework. We have to once again ask ourselves – Who really benefits from a sudden shift in the economic and monetary world? Who gains political and social power through a cashless society? Is it the public? Or, is it the same banking elites and globalists that have always held sway over our economic structure?

In 2017 I published an article called 'The Globalist One World Currency Will Look A Lot Like Bitcoin'. In it, I warned that the trendy marketing of cryptocurrencies to the general public by the mainstream media was extremely suspicious and contrary to the notion that the establishment was “terrified” of Bitcoin or blockchain tech putting them out of business. I also warned of the deep involvement of international banks like Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan in the progress of blockchain infrastructure and more specifically Goldman Sachs and the IMF's love affair with digital monetary systems. Goldman Sachs even referred to the blockchain as “the new technology of trust…”

Clearly, the banking elites are not worried about this technology. In fact, they have been investing in it heavily. But why? I have long held that current popular cryptocurrencies are nothing more than a beta test for a global digital currency system controlled by the elites.

Russian warplanes also targeted the vicinity of the key town of Kabani in northern Lattakia, where the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) launch a ground attack earlier today. So far, the army has secured the 101 hilltop.

Greater Idlib is under the tight control of al-Qaeda-affiliated Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) as well as many other terrorist groups.

A recent report by Sputnik claims that the SAA is amassing its forces to launch “a large-scale military operation” in the region’s southern part.

In Video: Houthis Shot Down Saudi Apache Attack Helicopter Over Northern Yemen

The Houthis shot down on November 29 an AH-64 Apache attack helicopter of the Saudi-led coalition near Yemen’s border with the Kingdom.

Brig. Gen. Yahya Sari, a spokesman for the Yemeni group, said in an official statement that the helicopter was downed with an anti-aircraft missile “equipped with a new tech” that will be revealed soon. The spokesman added that a video of the operation will be released.

“The Armed Forces affirms that approaching Yemeni airspace is prohibited … and that it will confront all the enemies’ violations until it reaches full protection of Yemeni airspace,” Brig. Gen. Sair said.

According to the Houthis, both the Apache’s pilot and gunner were killed in the incident, which took place south of the Saudi province of Asir.

Yemeni sources released a short video supposedly showing the downing of the Saudi attack helicopter. The video has not been verified, yet.

Around 30 Apache attack helicopters are in service with the Saudi Arabian National Guard Forces (SANGF). More than 90 others are operated by the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF).

Saudi Apache helicopters participate in the offensive and defensive military operations along the border with Yemen on a regular basis.

Earlier in 2019, the Houthis revealed two “locally-developed” air-defense systems. Back then, the Yemeni group said that other unknown systems are in service, or being developed.

Video: Why Are We Still in Afghanistan?

First published September 2016

18 years later, the US and its NATO allies still have troops in Afghanistan with no plans on leaving.

We were told this was about 9/11 and Osama Bin Laden, but these were lies.

So why are the troops still there?

What was the war in Afghanistan really about?

The decision to invade Afghanistan was taken by the Bush-Cheney war cabinet in the evening of September 11, 2001. It was based on the presumption, “confirmed” by the head of the CIA that Al Qaeda was behind the attacks and that Al Qaeda was supported by the Afghan government.

On the following morning, September 12, 2001, NATO’s Atlantic Council meeting in Brussels, endorsed the Bush administration’s declaration of war on Afghanistan, invoking Article 5 of the Washington Treaty.

Michel Chossudovsky of the Centre for Research on Globalization joins us to explain.
