Any P2P message board is not a good idea because each individual would probably be liable for the other content of the peers. That’s why any so called ‘blockchain’ based message board that touts free speech protection is a big no-no unless the laws change (good luck on that)
Not a lawfag but it is a legitimate concern. Too much grey area and too convenient for evil people to take advantage of and ruin others. When I first saw the people coming out of the woodwork promoting p2p message boards as a way to protect free speech I had a gut feeling that it was a bad idea. A tor node is one thing even universities have those but in a limited field being site exclusive I think it’s a bad bad idea.
