Here's the deal. If Q is using familiar and previously used items (watch, pen, desk, notebook) to CONFIRM his identity, we should be concerned if the item used to confirm is DIFFERENT than the previous items.
Nobody ever came to that conclusion. The first watch had black hands. No amount of mental gymnastics is going to convince me the hands were blue. They weren't. They were black.
The new hands are blue.
Those hands are black. That is not lighting. The black is very different from the new hands which are bright blue.
Those hands are black with a light reflecting off the glass. Thank for yourself. Those hands are different than the new watch. Different band too.
Q (The real Q) has said many times, TRUST YOURSELF. Well, I know what I see. The hands on the previous watch were black. The hands on the new watch are blue. Thus, it is NOT a confirmation.
