Please remember, the ultimate penalty, and only enforcement mechanism in the USMCA is a cessation of trade.

Countries can do what they want.

If Canada or Mexico has a problem with what we are doing, of vise-versa, we/they can begin a process to decide if we/they keep trading with them/us.

It's flexible and fair.

I'm beginning to see a pattern here. The USMCA detractors are trying their best to relate it to other initiatives and documents that the POTUS doesn't support. Trying to make Trump look bad.
