Pope Francis celebrated Luther's reform last year with a vatican postal stamp. Francis has already practically condoned divorce. He aims to have married priests and women priests (talking points for the upcoming synods).
In short, the "catholic" pope is not catholic anymore, his methods maybe be jesuitical but his substance is protestant (= heretical) through and through.
Protestants blasting "Rome" therefore are so uninformed that they're almost funny.
