Was going to ask any NavyAnons about housing at a duty station while a sailor’s vessel is in dry-dock.
My guess/speculation is shooter had no business being at the shipyard and the civilian shipyard workers told him to GTFO. My speculation is he really wanted to get on that vessel (to recover some contraband ? or something that would make him desperate so that he was there with a gun, or returned with a gun to confront the dry-dock workers. He did not know the shipyard guys(unless the all cuckolded him by being with his wife/girlfriend.
