I get it anon. Hive mind doesn't lend itself well to a positive connotation and that may be b/c pop culture hasn't done the word any favors. I think of Sci-Fi films and video games using a hive or collective conscious as an antagonist (Star Ship Troopers, World of Warcraft - Silithus Zone both come to mind).
On the collective intelligence side of the hive mind, and how I interpret Q: many anons with broad perspective and wide areas of expertise coming together for a common cause: to research and expose corruption.
