5 men and 2 women were arrested for tresspassing the Quabbin Reservoir. This reservoir supplies Boston with 40% of their water.
The men told police they are recently graduated chemical engineers, curious about the reservoir.

You could easily do what Nickerson was saying, by having an accident on route 14, which goes through the reservoir.
