Maybe shutting down 8ch was a way to set a precedent to shut down twitter. Twitter has a far bigger reach and they hate that Trump uses it to keep the masses informed. They would love to shut it down. Doing 8ch first was just an excuse so they could later do the same to Twitter. Just a thought.
