I'm not saying Mossad wouldn't have caused a networking protocol for distributing/controlling news across multi newsrooms to be named "Media Object Server" just to be cute. They might have. I was under the impression this protocol has been around for a long time.
The Media Object Server (MOS) protocol allows newsroom computer systems (NCS) to communicate using a standard protocol with video servers, audio servers, still stores, and character generators for broadcast production. The MOS protocol is based on XML.
