Christine Ramey Participated as a peer reviewer of a paper resulting from a meeting 5/2015 convened by the Board on Children, Youth, and Families of the National Academies of Sciences, Enginnering, and Medicine. The paper was about the “preschool
to prison pipeline,” which describes the disturbing trend of setting children—disproportionately children of color—on a trajectory toward the criminal justice system through practices such as early expulsion and suspension.
