went camping on an island in a lake, pine forest, first time doing mushrooms, only time I 'hallucinated'

I'm lying on the beach at noon staring at a cloud and I 'notice' it's not a cloud at all.

What I'm 'really seeing' is; I'm staring into the cosmos, and the cloud is really a freight train the size of a galaxy like Andromeda barrelling towards us. A cloud of light totally outside of our human sense of scale.

This colossus is approaching at an unimaginable speed, but it's so big and so far away that it looks stationary. It is going to smash right into us, and I could just smile in awe.
