Disabling the global control structure is going to take some time. Gobalist decided the west was going to pay for systematizing the rest of the worlds societies and in the end destroy itself because of that pesky thing call liberty.
At this point, Hong Kong is just a pawn in the bigger fight to disentangle the US from China. Not a fair, or right, just the way it is.
You are absolutely correct, the US needs to learn how to stand on it's own again and have appropriate relations with the rest of the world, but unilaterally disengaging from the disastrous web that has been woven would not only collapse the US, it would destroy places like Hong Kong.
The piece seems like a hit piece on the US, using the same, Shame on you for interfering and you are going down anyway because experts say so.
