I personally (yesterday) believed it was merely an OCR artifact and said so, was not shilling. Today I am thoroughly convinced there is something unprecedented and bizarre going on, because so many instances have been found going way back to The Atlantic in 2013 and many other documents.

What is that strange vertical structure on the left of the image (to nadler's right). Look like a brass decoration that is horribly pitted, discolored and degraded?
Like deeply etched with acid or somethin?
What room are they in?
