Baker cannot pin the thread but can list it in the dough if he is willing (usually when there is enough anon support–or at least no real opposition–and there is room. Listed under Other Dedicated Research Threads.

NO, you do not need the approval of BO/BVs, to add things to the dough, that is not their call
Baker must be willing but if they aren't good with it or say no for any reason you can try in different breads (as with notables)
(Doesn't mean they are comp'd–each baker has his own way to decide what he wants to take responsibility for)
Also, make an entry at least once a day–you prolly know–also remind anons the thread exists from time to time.
