Oh and to add to that:
Google Analytics is almost on every single site out there.
When your browser contacts Google for every single website, Google can track every move that you make. And when you are using Google products (you have a Google account), they of course link all of that to your internal profile.
When you don't, they still give you a unique ID, and Google is able to track you and link years of browsing to 1 profile.
I'm also sure that Amazon and Google etc. are linked. Which means when you are logged in on Amazon, and let all that tracking through, Amazon knows who you are, and they can then link all your further browsing to your name as well.
So it's a good idea to block all of that as far as you can go.
You should also make all Google cookies "for this session" only, which means they will get deleted after you close the browser.
I block most, I let a few through for Captchas.
There are other ways to track, but it makes it quite a bit harder for them..
In general you should not want to connect to Google servers for every single website you visit.
I even get pic related sometimes on 4 after I posted quite a bit.
When they think you are a bot, you have to be doing something right.
