My argument against a peaceful, loving, merciful God is why would He allow the suffering that is in the world to happen? It seems to me that Satan would be the better candidate for God, because it seems that either there is no God at all…or if there is a God, wouldn't it make more sense that that God would be evil in nature, do to the amount of suffering in nature and the world?
