‘Brexitquake, not Youthquake’: Stunning UK vote proves those who ignore traditional supporters are doomed – George Galloway
Exit polls suggesting a decisive victory for Boris Johnson’s Conservatives are an indication that Britain witnessed a ‘Brexitquake’ and that Labour turned its back on its traditional voting base, ex-MP George Galloway tells RT.
Galloway, a former Labour MP, told RT that the “stunning” result for the Tories proved that the Twitter bubble — where activists warned of a coming Labour “Youthquake” — proved that it was indeed just a “bubble.”
While Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn will likely bear the brunt of the blame, Galloway believes the defeat is not entirely his fault, as he found himself “boxed in” to an anti-Brexit position by a strong Remain contingent in his party.
I cautioned for the last two years that Labour would be doomed if they turned their back on their traditional supporters, who supported Brexit strongly.
“All my warnings have been vindicated,” Galloway added.

Nearly 400,000 Gallons of Crude Oil Discharged in Canadian Train Derailment
TORONTO (Sputnik) - About 400,000 gallons of crude oil was discharged following a Canadian Pacific Railway (CP) tanker derailment in Saskatchewan province, the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) said in an investigation notice.
"Preliminary examination of the 23 cars suggests that about 19 of the cars lost their entire loads releasing an estimated 1.5 million litres of product to either the ground or atmosphere", the notice said on Thursday.
On 9 December, a train originating at Rosyth, Alberta bound for Stroud, Oklahoma, derailed near Guernsey, Saskatchewan. As a result, crude oil was discharged from the tankers and became engulfed in flames that took 24 hours to put out.

Photographer Removed from Impeachment Hearing…Caught on CNN’s Live Feed Taking Photos of GOP Paperwork
A photographer who took photos of GOP paperwork while the impeachment hearing was on break has been removed from the impeachment hearing.
Reuter’s photographer Josh Roberts was tossed from the hearing after he was caught on CNN’s live feed (see below), taking photos of different paperwork left on the desks of the Republican Congressmen during a break in the hearing.
Devin Nunes tweeted out a video of two reporters taking pictures of impeachment notes by Republicans. Rep. Debbie Lasko (see below) was alarmed by this and said she would have her staff look into it.
Nunes said in his tweet that this is “media spy games”:
Whoever this is, regardless of their party affiliation, should lose their press pass and be banned from the capitol building.
