I'm not a bible-thumper, and I don't go to church(I think they're all phonies and hypocrites) but I always think of the saying something like he who has much will be given more, but he with little will lose all he has.

Thanks anon, but no need for apologies, I know the few bad apples don't represent Christ any more than the few bad Americans don't make us all greedy bloodthirsty psychopaths! Plus, forgiveness is pretty big in Jesus' teachings, so it's all good. I've also met plenty of good Christians, so I know the church can be a good thing it's just not my thing. Of course, with time, maybe things will change, but I'll always have my personal relationship, church or no church. Blessings to you and yours as well anon
