>The book of Matthew has been altered over 200 times.
An exceptionally weak, if not moot point. As this idea of owning your own words and being responsible for them is a subject the Bible repeats over and over.
So was this single chapter of Jude, which conveys the same message, was IT too re-written?
Jude 1:15
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
Jude 1:16
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words
Or what about this, was this rewritten?
Ecclesiastes 12:14
For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
So you can get caught up in whether or not a passage has been mistranslated, but the Bible teaches that you are responsible for every idle word, that you OWN your words and works, and will be held accountable.
