There is a lot of information out there anon regarding the 737 Max grounding anon. Get off your lazy fucking ass and quit outsourcing your thinking. The long and short of it since you still need to be spoon fed like a fucking baby:

Boeing was falling behind Airbus who was putting bigger, more efficient engines on the competitor to the 737 (A320 IIRC). Boeing decided to do the same but the problem is that the 737 does not have the ground clearance to house larger engines so the engineers moved the nacelles higher (repositioned the engines) BUT Boeing marketed this as the same 737 (wrong). Moving the nacelles caused the aerodynamics of the 737 and software had to be developed to control for the side effects of the nacelles being moved. This software was not tested nor did Boeing inform the FAA or pilots. They sold the aircraft as the same old 737 with higher performance. Complete and utter bullshit and outright lies. And Boeing is on LinkedIn and other social media channels claiming a culture of safety. Engineers, Program Managers, Project Managers, and leadership at Boeing on the 737 Max project all have blood on their hands.

Next time invest the time to inform yourself. Don't take my word for it. Do. The. Research. You are better than this. Go to Vox if you want an excellent article explaining the scandal.
