From the image timestamps are completely gone. Both, on mobile devices as well as on the screen in the background.
The "[whatever time] ago" message usually shows up when hovering over the timestamp.
I've never seen timestamps completely gone, but wouldn't know if that's a "mobile phone"-feature.
