I'm not totally sure. I hope the best for the Iranian people, they've been under the crushing thumb of the clerics for so long.
The Political Establishment in the US has long had their eyes on Iran, but certainly not for any good. They've talked about conquest with Iran as an end goal. Maybe now (with Trump) the plan is for real change and the Iranian leadership will fall leaving the people in a better position to govern themselves.
Or maybe they will be a boogieman, as you put it. The pressure is on, and they've got loads of missiles to create a huge diversion from losing power if they feel pushed all the way into a corner.
The right players and right pressures in that region do seem to be lining up quite smartly for a rather "biblical" crescendo…

I sifted through their annual statements starting in 2008 and they didn't really gain steam until 2016 election and then have been on a tear with 7x increase from 2010 until 2018 (which has huge money coming in from some big names like Open Society, Rockefeller, Ford Family, etc. I don't know even know how i stumbled on them, but i noticed every year the same top dogs were donating and then Soros went huge in 2018 to the tune of nearly $1M (15-20%) of their entire take for the year.
Sorry if old news and their well known but quite interesting seeing NWO donors are over their annual reports and financials…bizarre. They also seem to really after Trump, attacking Sessions for supposed AL conflict of interest and hammering on Trump over Carl Icahn suspected market trade prior 25% tariffs announcement and another pick that Grassley and committee shelled. So they don't pick sides and act very partisan but the common denominator?
