One way I can think of how that could be meant is via (((their))) attempt to make the argument that POTUS is trying to get back at them, because he tries to deflect from their impeachment.

At any rate, it's a worse than weak argument, no doubt, even more so since a trial in the senate will come with the process of discovery ….
