"In addition to the issues related to Steele, the FBI was found to have omitted exculpatory information about Page that could have impacted the judge’s decision in granting the FISA warrant. Included in this was an instance where an attorney was found to have altered an email to say that Page had not been a CIA source, when in fact he had been working with them. That information would have justified Page’s contacts with Russia, and its omission ultimately led to the FBI renewing the FISA warrant against Page."
Had the 302 gone unedited
FISA warrant denied
Steele Dossier loses all value
No Russian Collusion
No path to impeachment
Game over
POTUS wins
> FWIW - POTUS never stops winning
This edit was more than a side note
This was everything to (((them)))
> who made the edit?
> why did he/she make the edit?
> based off what factual information?
> who told that person to make the edit?
> in the process of gathering information to seek a FISA warrant, wouldn't any current or previous contracts with the CIA discovered?
> wouldn't this have led them to contact the c_a?
> what would they have found out?
We have clinton paying another group to gather Intel from a foriegn entity, with ties to russia
An employee within that group, assigned to the Trump research team, is married to the ADAG (now former)
> BO/NO
This group's work then finds its way into the public domain
Which is then used to establish credibility with the FISA court
Along w/ a member of the Trump Team contacts w/ russians provides substantial enough evidence to obtain a FISA allowing for the LEGAL surveillance.
However, they didn't tell the FISA court
> the source of the dossier
> who funded it
https://definitions.uslegal.com/i/intentional-omission/
Then they edited the 302 to remove any association between the c_a & Page which, through the course of the investigation, should have become known.
Both would have been reasons to deny the warrants.
Intentional omission of facts pertaining to the source of the dossier, along with the edits made to the 302 shows there was intent to illegally spy on a political party, on behalf of a rival political party, while using the legal processes & framework to make the surveillance appear legitimate.
This was a political hit job.
The f_i was weaponized against a duly elected President for the political benefit of the rival (& losing) political party.
(((they))) attempted to undermine the will of the people.
This is treason.
