why are veterans killing themselves?
>bound to a contract with an MOS they have no aptitude for/received bogus training for (AIT commanders demand 100% pass rate and therefore cheese the fucking curriculum)
>show up at unit, immediately deploy
>suck at job, 4,000+ miles from home, regret everything
>have full blown mental breakdowns every day
>come home, smoke weed
>wow i guess my job isn't really that bad, i could really learn to do it well enough and just power through my contract
>tfw weed clears my mind to make me want to finish my contract and uphold my obligation to my country despite my frail state of mind
>tfw weed automatically gets me a discharge initiated/UCMJ 45/45 for good measure
>tfw everyone around me in my unit smokes Spice in their vapes and goes undetected in routine UA's
>tfw everyone around me abuses alcohol
>tfw everyone around me including my command team is open about their adultery
just gonna end it all gents, but i hope by highlighting some of this here maybe we can affect some positive change for the future
