Six Illegal Aliens Accused of Raping, Sex Trafficking Underage Girl

Six illegal aliens have been charged with sexually assaulting and trafficking a girl under the age of 16 in Wisconsin.

Esler Hugo Rivera, 33-years-old, 28-year-old Rolando Corado Gonzalez, 40-year-old Avelino Sarceno-Sarceno, 37-year-old Ember Rivera, 28-year-old Noe Bautista-Martinez and 31-year-old Evis Amabilio Garcia-Rivera were arrested and charged on suspicion of second-degree sexual assault after an underage girl called the police saying she had escaped a sex trafficking operation.

All of the six men arrested are believed to be illegal aliens from Guatemala, according to the Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office.

Police said the underage girl called 911 as she was on the run after just escaping from the six illegal aliens. She told police that she was being sex trafficked at a house in the Manchester, Wisconsin, area.

After the call, police raided the house and seized evidence that they believe reveals the extent to which the girl was being sex trafficked and sexually assaulted by the illegal aliens.

Illegal alien Evis Amabilio Garcia-Rivera is suspected of sex trafficking the girl. Currently, the illegal aliens are being held on bail from $20,000 to $50,000 each at the Green Lake County Correctional Facility.

Why is Gold, Cash Worth Hundreds of Billions of Dollars Vanishing Into Thin Air?

While banks are printing more money than ever before, bunches of them inexplicably disappear, much like gold caches that are heavily relied on at times of political crisis.

As Goldman Sachs has pointed out, there are several strange trends in today’s global economy, with one showing central banks (CBs) increasingly injecting money into electronic coins to better feed markets and simplify money exchange processes.

Meanwhile, billions of dollars in physical currency and precious metals are literally disappearing, as Zero Hedge points out in a recent overview.

Goldman Sachs wrote earlier this week “gold’s strategic case is still strong” in light of “geopolitical uncertainty”, with governments eagerly zeroing in on cash and gold caches. As the investment titan noted, “CBs globally have been buying gold at a very strong pace” and “2019 looks to be a record year for CB gold purchases with our target of 750 tonnes combined purchases likely to be met".

However, there is one peculiar side to the gold-related trend: the bank says there has been an eye-watering 1,200 tons or "unexplained" gold flows worth around $57 billion over the past three years.

"Rising political risk - together with negative European rates - may be an important reason behind the large share of unaccounted gold investment over the past several years”, says Goldman's Mikhail Sprogis, analysing that the “cumulative unexplained gold demand based on World Gold Council (post 2010) and GFMS (pre 2010) balances data”.

He further remarks that since the end of 2016, the “implied build in non-transparent gold investment has been much larger than the build in visible gold ETFs.”

The observation is, as the analyst notes, fully consistent with reports that vault demand shows an upward trend:

“Political risks, in our view, help explain this because if an individual is trying to minimise the risks of sanctions or wealth taxes, then buying physical gold bars and storing them in a vault, where it is more difficult for governments to reach them, makes sense”, Sprogis writes.

Goldman thereby portrays the way there has been tens of billions in gold flows which have vanished into thin air, away from the official records, but are purported to be behind the scenes as the world is bracing itself for a new economic shock.

"Central banks don’t know where they have gone, or why, and are playing detective, trying to crack the same mystery", The Wall Street Journal writes about the same trend, but vis-à-vis hard material money.

“People hide their money everywhere”, said Sven Bertelmann, head of the Bundesbank’s National Analysis Centre in Mainz, Germany, adding:

“Sometimes bank notes are buried in the garden, where they start decomposing, or hidden in attics, where they are used by mice for building nests.

“It happens again and again that people keep money in an envelope and then they shred it by mistake”, Mr Bertelmann said. “We pick up the bank notes with tweezers and then start to put them together, like a jigsaw puzzle,” he explained.

The German central bank is one of those deeply worried about the trend: according to the Bundesbank, more than 150 billion euros are currently hoarded in Germany, with Australia’s central bank reporting that an average of $7.6 billion Australian dollars ($5.2 billion) is missing “at the beach or in couch cushions… or simply lost in a "boating accident" to avoid the taxman until the rainy days arrive”.

Along with printing more cash, a vast number of countries, including Russia, has of late been boosting its gold reserves, mostly by buying gold on the domestic market. Moscow became the biggest buyer of the precious metal in 2018 and is aiming to claim the status in 2019, too.

This trend started roughly at the same time as Russia kicked off its sale of US Treasury bonds, reducing their value in the nation’s portfolio from $92 billion to $10.07 billion in US debt.

Comey Says He Wouldn't Resign Over FISA Mistakes if He Was Still FBI Director

Former FBI Director James Comey said on Sunday that he wouldn't resign over the findings in the Department of Justice Inspector General report on the origins of the Russia probe if he was still in charge of the FBI.

"As director you are responsible from this. I was responsible for this and if I were still there I would be doing what Chris Wray is doing, finding out how did this happen and is it systemic because that's the scariest part," Comey said on Fox News.

In December of 2018, after he was fired from his position, Comey told reporters that the FBI had handled the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) process appropriately.

"I have total confidence that the FISA process was followed and that the entire case was handled in a thoughtful and responsible way by DOJ and the FBI," he said last year. "I think the notion that FISA was abused here is nonsense."

Michael Horowitz, the DOJ IG, found that mistakes were made with respect to FISA warrants and Comey admitted on Sunday that he was wrong.

"I was overconfident as director in our procedures," said Comey, who signed the FISA application for Carter Page, former Trump campaign foreign policy advisor.

Since the FISA errors were made on his watch, Comey was asked if he would have resigned as director if he was still in that position at this time.

"No I don't think so. Mistakes I consider more consequential than this during my tenure and the important thing is to be transparent about it and look to fix it and explain to the American people how you fix it," he said.

Turkey could shut down Incirlik Air Base used by US if necessary – Erdogan on US sanctions

Ankara retains the option of shutting down the Incirlik Air Base used by US/NATO forces, in retaliation to any additional sanctions against Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said.

As well the air base, which is located in Adana, the Kurecik Radar Station in the Malatya province may also be closed, Erdogan said. The Kurecik base houses an early-warning radar installed by the US Army, which plays a strategic role in NATO’s ballistic missile defense network.

“We will close down Incirlik if necessary,” Erdogan told A Haber TV.

If they are threatening us with the implementation of these sanctions, of course we will be retaliating.

Erdogan made the threat, which had earlier been suggested by FM Mevlut Cavusoglu, while talking to the A Haber channel about the Armenian Genocide resolution passed by the US Senate. It formally recognizes as genocide the mass murder of some 1.5 million Armenians in the early 20th century by the Ottoman Empire.

While the resolution was actually opposed by US President Donald Trump because it came amid a notable low-point in American-Turkish relations, Trump himself has not shied away from threatening Ankara with sanctions – even with the use of force.

California DMV “Accidentally” Re-Registering Hundreds Of Voters As Non Affiliated

Whether by intent or incompetence, California officials are once again feeling the heat from another voter registration covfefe. This round involves the DMV’s new “motor voter” program, which automatically registers people to vote as they get their driver license or change their address. The DMV has “accidentally” been registering people as non affiliated instead of the party they actually signed up with, even if they had previously been registered to vote with the party of their choosing.

Fresno Bee initially reported:

At least 600 Californians, including lifelong Republicans and Democrats, have had their voter registration unexpectedly changed, and several county elections officials are pinning much of the blame on the state’s Department of Motor Vehicles.

Among those affected: the daughter of the California Senate’s GOP leader.

“I was like, ‘Kristin did you register as no party preference?’” asked Sen. Shannon Grove, R-Bakersfield. “She said, ‘No, I’m a Republican.’”

Elections officials across the state are linking many of the reported complaints to the state’s new Motor Voter program, which launched ahead of the 2018 midterms to automatically register eligible voters when they visit the DMV. The 2015 law was designed to help boost participation, but a rushed launch prompted 105,000 registration errors to occur following its roll-out.

Janna Haynes, public information officer for Sacramento County Voter Registration & Elections, said the department has received “close to 200 calls from people saying they don’t think they were registered NPP” after the county recently sent out postcards to about 200,000 other people earlier this month.

Haynes noted two-thirds of the 200 complaints the department received came from people who have recently done business with the DMV.

Will Hurd: ‘Media Was Lied To’ About FISA Abuse, Steele Dossier

Texas Rep. Will Hurd said Sunday that the media should be “outraged” at the FBI for lying about its surveillance of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, and regarding the infamous Steele dossier.

“I don’t understand why more people are not outraged. I don’t understand why Chairman Schiff’s not upset, because he was lied to by folks. The media was lied to about this,” Hurd told CNN’s Jake Tapper.

Hurd, a Republican member of the House Intelligence Committee, was responding to a Justice Department inspector general’s report that found “significant inaccuracies” in FBI applications for surveillance warrants against Page.

The FBI withheld exculpatory information regarding Page — including that he had a longstanding relationship with the CIA — as well as derogatory information about the Steele dossier. The IG report stated the dossier was “central and essential” to the FBI’s assertions that Page was a Russian agent.

“And if [Inspector General Michael Horowitz] would have came back and said that the Steele dossier was 100% true, I would be apoplectic, because people would have lied to me, and I’d be dragging them to the Hill to answer questions,” Hurd told Tapper.

Tapper said he agreed with Hurd’s assessment, though CNN has been at the forefront of defending the Steele dossier and the FBI’s use of the document to spy on Page.

“I agree with you 100%, there should be a lot more bipartisan outrage about this,” said Tapper.

CNN has asserted in reports and its broadcast coverage for nearly three years that parts of the Steele dossier have proved accurate. Tapper and other CNN journalists have also insisted on air that the FBI would have verified parts of the dossier before using the information in applications for FISA warrants against Page.

Virginia National Guard responds after Democratic lawmaker suggests it may be needed to enforce gun control measures

The Virginia National Guard on Friday responded to a Democratic lawmaker after he suggested that it may be needed to enforce new gun legislation.

The remarks from Rep. A. Donald McEachin (D-Va.) suggesting that Gov. Ralph Northam (D) “may have to nationalize the National Guard to enforce the law” comes as dozens of counties across Virginia have declared themselves “Second Amendment sanctuaries” after Democrats took over the state legislature last election.

"We have received multiple questions regarding proposed legislation for the 2020 General Assembly session and the authority of the Governor of Virginia to employ the Virginia National Guard in a law enforcement role,” the Virginia National Guard wrote in a statement posted on Twitter Friday.

“We understand and respect the passion people feel for the U.S. Constitution and 2nd Amendment rights. We will not speculate about the possible use of the Virginia National Guard,” it added.

Greta Thunberg tweets photo sitting on ‘overcrowded’ train floor — but railway says she travelled ‘first class’

Teen climate activist Greta Thunberg has been caught out in an embarrassing fib after posting this photo of her train journey.

Climate activist Greta Thunberg and Germany’s national railway company created a tweetstorm Sunday after she posted a photo of herself sitting on the floor of a train surrounded by lots of bags.

The image has drawn plenty of comment online about the performance of German railways.

Thunberg posted the tweet late Saturday with the comment “travelling on overcrowded trains through Germany. And I’m finally on my way home!”

But German railway company Deutsche Bahn suggested that Thunberg may not have spent the whole time sitting on the floor.

And the 16-year-old Swedish activist later sought to draw a line under the matter by tweeting that she eventually got a seat and that overcrowded trains are a good thing.

Some Twitter users expressed pity for Thunberg for not being able to get a proper seat on the train for the long ride home from Madrid, where she was attending the UN climate change conference.

Others wished her a safe trip home after months of travelling by trains and boats to different climate events in Europe and the United States.

Thunberg doesn’t fly on planes because it’s considered harmful to the climate. Last week, she was named Time magazine’s Person of the Year for her efforts to prod government and others to take faster actions in fighting climate change.
