Cutting stone with resonant vibration:
I believe the Egyptians used this method with stringed instruments or choir chanting to maintain frequency.
No.
This may be the worst hypothesis I've ever heard. Are you a sculptor, woodworker, or materials scientist?
Woodcarving yields completely different grain structure and mark making, never mind the lithifaction stage that you suggest would require staggering amounts of energy to transmute plant cells into minerals to have been used in industrial scale monument building. The marbling grain and geologic character of stones like Diorite and Sandstone cannot be mistaken for woodgrain, it's preposterous.
It's true that carving Diorite with modern technology requires diamond plated bits and high rpm machinery, but that suggest to me the problem is in our understanding of Egyptian tech, not in reinterpreting the definition of stone.
