Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani taunted the Deep State-Democrat-media complex Sunday morning and said he will be sharing evidence he “has garnered through hundreds of hours of research.”

“Stay tuned,” Rudy said building anticipation.

And boy did he deliver.

Rudy revealed a huge money laundering operation involving the Bidens and Burisma Holdings. Money was flowing through Latvia and Cyprus disguised as loans to various tech companies then paid out as ‘board fees’ to Hunter Biden.

“That is a straight out violation of a money laundering statute,” Giuliani said.

Giuliani revealed that there is documents showing Schiff’s star witness, fired US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch perjured herself at least twice during her impeachment testimony.

On Monday Rudy Giuliani went on with Laura Ingraham to discuss his damning Ukrainian investigations.

Because they were going to come here and give evidence either against Biden or against the Democratic Party.

What Everyone is Missing About the Afghanistan Papers

We can't let the Afghanistan Papers obscure itself into nothingness.

If you need more proof that lawmakers in the U.S. couldn’t care less about America’s woeful commitment to human rights abroad—or even care about the public who vote them into office—look no further than the recent Afghanistan papers and the reaction to the publications from Congress.

According to the Washington Post, the outlet had obtained 2,000 pages of notes from interviews with more than 400 generals, diplomats, and other officials directly involved in the war. The documents showed that U.S. officials were lying about the progress being made in Afghanistan, lacked a basic understanding of Afghanistan, were hiding unmistakable evidence that the war had become unwinnable, and wasted close to $1 trillion in the process.

Barely a few hours following the Post’s publication, Congress rewarded the Pentagon for its stellar efforts with a $22 billion budget increase. How can we as a society justify this?

One stand-out statistic—among the many concerning ones—is the fact that before the U.S. invasion the Taliban had almost completely put to bed Afghanistan’s illicit opium trade. Since the U.S. invasion, combined with $9 billion in U.S. funding for anti-opium programs, the Taliban is not only stronger than it ever was but sits cemented in a country that now supplies 80 percent of the world’s opium.

I can’t help but think this was done on purpose.

Still, it would be worth re-thinking our outrage over the Afghanistan papers and determining what exactly it is we are outraged about. Are we simply angry because top U.S. officials lied to us about the fact they weren’t winning the war, making it a less worthwhile venture? If the U.S. were winning the war, spending $1 trillion in the process, killing record numbers of civilians, ramping up night raids to terrorize local populations, committing war crimes left right and center, would that suddenly make it all okay? As long as the war is being won, right?

Joe Biden attended a fundraiser hosted by a high-profile trial lawyer, once accused of defrauding the British Petroleum (BP) oil spill recovery effort, during a recent campaign swing through Texas.

The former vice president traveled to the Lone Star State on Friday for a series of events meant to bolster his standing ahead of Super Tuesday. Among the scheduled rallies and town halls was a little noticed fundraiser in San Antonio, Texas, with Democrat power brokers. The event, attended by a bevy of special interests, was hosted by Mikal Watts, a well connected trial lawyer.

Watts, who unsuccessfully sought the Democrat nomination for U.S. Senate in 2008 on a pro-life and anti-gay marriage platform, is a prolific campaign donor. Since 1992, Watts has steered more than a million to Democrat candidates and causes. Included on the list of elected officials he has backed are President Barack Obama, former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-TX), and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA). Warren, in particular, benefited from a $25,000 donation the trial lawyer gave to a federal PAC supporting her reelection campaign in 2018.

I wrote an article about Cambridge Analytica, the commodification of voter decision making and the marketisation of democracy, along with previous articles about western government strategies for subverting democracy. I have also extensively criticised governments’ use of ‘behavioural economics‘, and the authoritarian “neuroliberal” turn more generally.

Within the neoliberal framework, it seems that anything which may be commodified and marketised is, including our consumer preferences, Facebook likes, behaviours, emotions, subconscious inclinations, cognitive habits, perceptions and decisions. If companies like Cambridge Analytica could mine and sell our souls, they would do so in much they same way they did their own collective conscience.

The CEO of Cambridge Analytica has been suspended, Alexander Nix, has been suspended. However, Nix is a symptom of a problem, rather than being the problem itself.

Cambridge Analytica is just the tip of a very dirty, subterranean iceberg. It’s worth keeping in mind that without paying clients, among which are governments, antidemocratic companies like this would not thrive and profit. The extensive Public Relations (PR) and ‘strategic communications’ industry, along with the ‘behavioural economics’ technocrats, are all working on sustaining power relations and extending corporate and right wing political interests.

Hong Kong Airport Passenger Volumes Crash To Decade Lows Amid Socio-Economic Chaos

Who in their right mind would travel to Hong Kong these days? Six months of violent protests and a deepening recession have transformed the city into a chaotic mess. Mainland Chinese, corporations, and tourists are abandoning the city, reflected in the latest plunge of airport passenger and air freight data.

Hong Kong International Airport reported on Sunday that passenger volume in November was down 16.2% Y/Y, the most significant decline since 2009, when volumes fell 18.7% Y/Y, reported Reuters, citing a Civil Aviation Department statement.

In the last three months, passenger volume fell 12% Y/Y as violent protests have kept many away from the city.

The statement said some of the most significant drops in passenger volumes came from mainland China and Southeast Asia.

Hong Kong International Airport is the largest airport in the world for cargo and is used as an economic bellwether for the global economy.

With passenger volumes slipping and air fright cargo shipments dropping, the global economy could stumble into 2020.

The statement said flight trips dropped 8.3% Y/Y in November. Cargo throughput for the month fell 3.4% Y/Y to 450,000 tons.

The air freight slowdown has prompted airport officials to offer a 20% reduction to terminal handling fees for freight forwarders, in a bid to stoke new business.

The Air International Air Transport Association (IATA) said airlines could start slashing passenger capacity in 1Q20. If the passenger downturn persists through spring, commercial flights could be cut by summer.

The social unrest has been ongoing for six months and has forced the city's economy into a recession, affecting its largest sector: tourism.

Business receipts of tourism, convention, and exhibition services plunged 27.8% Y/Y in Q3, the worst drop since the SARS epidemic in 2003.

With no end in sight for the protests and a recession that is expected to deepen into 1H20, the time to rebuild business confidence in the city could take years, or in some respects, never – since China now wants to make Macau its next Hong Kong.

South Florida man created fake nonprofit to lure minors into sex trafficking, FBI says

Three South Florida residents are facing federal charges in a multi-state sex-trafficking ring involving minors that the FBI says was disguised as a nonprofit dedicated to helping trafficked victims.

William Foster, 48, and Hanah Chan, 30, of Delray Beach and Ashleigh Holloway, 36, of Fort Lauderdale are being charged with coercing victims, including underage girls, to work as exotic dancers and have sex with clients in exchange for a luxurious lifestyle.

The FBI began its investigation in February 2017 when two women contacted agents and said they were recruited by Foster when they were teens, according to an indictment unsealed last week in West Palm Beach federal court.

Foster was the leader of the sex-trafficking scheme for at least 15 years, according to investigators. He would “knowingly” traffic minors to make a profit, according to a criminal complaint.

Holloway and Chan, who were two of Foster’s trusted “Main Girls,” assisted Foster in sex trafficking at least one of his victims, according to court records.

Tempted with luxury goods

Foster used “displays of a fun and wealthy lifestyle as a way to recruit new females,” FBI Special Agent Kelly Cavey wrote in the complaint.

His victims, which investigators say were women and minor girls, would then be sent to work at strip clubs across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach County. They would also be forced to have sex with clients and Foster, the complaint states.

He would also send them across the country to strip clubs to entertain customers, including in New York, Las Vegas, and Detroit.

One of his victims was recruited out of high school while she was in foster care in August 2007 and was trafficked by Foster through May 2010, the complaint said.

Another victim told agents she had been “kidnapped by a violent pimp” and was being forced to work at a strip club now known as Gold Rush, 7770 Biscayne Blvd. in Miami, when she met Foster inside the club’s VIP champagne room in August 2004.
