On October 6th 2017, just days after the Las Vegas shooting of country music fans, Trump called the press to take a picture of him and military generals standing under Franklin's painting. He told the press that this room contained the most powerful military leaders in the world. When the press asked him what this was all about, he said “you'll find out” and then said maybe it's the "calm before the storm." Everyone at the time assumed it was related to North Korea. It wasn't.
