Q it was very quickly after your post last week about Misspellings mattering (or reminding us of that) that this post:

was made.

and from there were discovered 'strange kerning' which has been going on for a very long time, and shows up in many many documents and my 'troll' of 'oh my they must now pay back for all the documents and pay out for each mistake' was met with three days of gaslighting by 'ohno, it's just OCR' and other misinformation.

do the document contractors have to do a payback to the government agency for each mistake in the government document if they knowingly used strange kerning?
