I've noticed this, and work around by right-click and open in new tab.

Another problem I've noticed (Dissenter browser via clearnet address) is that, if the browser window is not at the bottom of the bread, it seems it sometimes stops getting new posts - even when going to the end of the bread, the countdown timer for updates cycles through zero and restarts without actually showing new content.
