It's "Kingsman: The Secret Service." Super-rich guy gives away free phones to anyone who wants one, then sends out a radio frequency through the phones which makes everyone go beserk and start attacking/killing each other. Super-rich guy and his friends are safely holed up in his mountain retreat. He did this in order to reduce the population.

I've always thought that this movie contains one of those "hiding in plain sight" messages…
