I don't think it's illegal, as a party is allowed to decide which values are important enough to fund, and coerce members that rely on party funding to support those values or risk losing funding.
Obviously it's not a good optics to take this approach (especially for this position), but I wouldn't want anyone telling the Republican it's illegal to stop funding someone's candidacy if they supported Planned Parenthood.
Are you saying a political party cannot decide which candidates they will provide funding to, based on their voting record?
