Police investigating another possible trespassing incident at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago club
Police are investigating a possible trespassing incident at Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s private South Florida club.
“There’s an ongoing investigation right now, and we’re working on it,” said Michael Ogrodnick, a spokesman for the Palm Beach Police Department, when asked whether police had responded to a Mar-a-Lago trespassing complaint. “We will let you know as soon as we have something, which should be soon.”
The police were called to the property Wednesday. Ogrodnick would not comment on what they were investigating.
A receptionist at Mar-a-Lago, located on the island town of Palm Beach, declined to comment Wednesday. So did the White House. The Trump Organization, the president’s private company, did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The U.S. Secret Service did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but it does not provide security for the club on days when the president is not in town.
