We talk about the hive mind here but I've noticed that the normies also thrive on groupthink and strength in numbers. I work in an office that's essentially an airtight echo chamber. The conversations of my coworkers are frightening. They just bounce their commentary off each other to validate their worldview. Probably a sign of insecurity, which is a good thing, but more so one of complete obstinance. They live and thrive on their perceptions of the real world, and you can see why when you consider the topics of conversation:

1) tv shows

2) movies

3) video games

4) sports

5) politics (MSM)

You can predict what political points of view they'll have on a given day if you watch Stephen Colbert the night before. The rest of the time they spend criticizing and mocking anybody whose ideas don't originate from areas 1-5…so they ridicule vaccine skeptics, Trump supporters, medicinal marijuana, any "conspiracy theories" (they love that term)…they're college educated, elitist snobs that think they're better than blue collar people. And yet they don't realize they're the real useful idiots, and the people they admire in the political arena have nothing but hatred and contempt for them.

It's sad, really. Reminds of a kid I knew one time who had NO idea the other kids didn't like him.

Interesting take by Conservative Treehouse. Democrats might be rushing this impeachment to set up the next year of harassment and Impeachment 2.0
