Q,
Would it be better to use a digital signature in addition to that tripcode that seems to get compromised? You could use command line OpenSSL and base-64 encode the signature to go in the message text along with all your questions. With RSA you can easily make truly huge keys beyond the standard sizes such as 2048 or 4096 in case clowns can do math better than the rest of us.
Breaking the hash that makes the tripcode is not the only threat so 256 bit SHA may not be enough. For instance 8chan server could be hacked or locally accessed and code added to it to tamper with the tripcodes when the author name is "Q". With a digital signature, spoofed messages not really from you would all be detectable by all of us by saving the text to a file and running command line OpenSSL ourselves. OpenSSL is open source and in everything: hard to poison that well undetected. Everybody already has a command line/shell such as cmd on Windows. There is no need to distribute verification software to Anons which they wouldn't be able to trust. To truly spoof you they would need the private key from your computer, quite a step up from just having to compromise 8chan I would suppose. Furthermore, the digital signature could be used on other platforms if 8chan is shut down.
I would like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and pray for the salvation of lives and souls during these interesting times.
