Q, no disrespect intended but I think this is truly the “Sum of All Fears”, Republicans United in purpose and goals. Dems must be shaking in their boots:

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Republican Party more unified,” said Rep. Greg Steube (R-FL), describing a “camaraderie” among House Republicans amid the Democrats’ impeachment push against President Donald Trump, offering his remarks in a Thursday interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow.

“It doesn’t seem as if the president has lost any of his original coalition,” remarked Marlow. “It seems like he’s gaining people towards the center, at this point.”

Shared adversity among Republicans strengthened their bonds of unity, explained Steube.

“Having served in the military and having gone through fights, and you serve with people [and] go through training with people,” Steube said. “That’s kind of what has happened now to the Republicans in Congress. We’ve all had to go through this, [and] you kind of now have that camaraderie of having fought this fight together, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen the Republican Party more unified in accomplishing a goal, and that’s taking the House back in 2020.”

It’s Official: Rep. Van Drew Flips Republican and Pledges ‘Undying Support’ for Donald Trump

Democrat Rep. Jeff Van Drew of New Jersey officially announced his decision to switch political parties and pledged his support for President Donald Trump on Thursday.

“I believe that this is just a better fit for me,” Van Drew told reporters on Thursday at the White House. “This is who I am. It’s who I always was, but there was more tolerance of moderate Democrats, of Blue Dog Democrats, of Conservative Democrats, and I think that’s going away.”

Van Drew met with Trump in the Oval Office together with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Vice President Mike Pence to discuss his decision.

Trump called his decision a “big deal” noting that it had been about ten years since a member of Congress switched parties to become a Republican.

“It’s a very big deal,” McCarthy agreed. “Because he’s going from the majority to the minority. It normally doesn’t go that way.”

“Yeah, but he’s very smart because he knows it’s not going to be the minority for long,” Trump replied. “I have a feeling we’re going to do very well in 2020.”

Van Drew noted that one of his political heroes continued to be former President Ronald Reagan.

He said, ‘I didn’t leave my party, my party left me,” Van Drew said. “I’m saying the same thing

The former Democrat pledged his support for Trump in the next election.

You have my undying support, and always,” Van Drew said

“By the way, same way,” Trump replied shaking Van Drew’s hand and adding, “I’m endorsing him.”

Vice President Mike Pence praised Van Drew for being a strong voice in the impeachment debate.

“I just want to tell you how grateful we are for your voice of reason and common sense in the days leading up to your decision,” Pence said. “You showed personal and political courage and I know the people of your district will be as grateful as we are today.”

Van Drew voted against the two articles of impeachment against Trump during the House of Representatives vote on Wednesday along with Rep. Collin Peterson (D-MN). Rep. Jared Golden (D-ME) also joined Peterson and Van Drew to vote against the second article of impeachment.

McCarthy also thanked Van Drew and welcomed him to the Republican Party.

“If there’s anyone else that feels like you if there are other people out there that feel that this new socialist Democrat wing of the party has left them behind, join with us,” he said.

Van Drew explained that he was told by a state Democrat official in a meeting that he could not vote against impeachment or that he would be destroyed politically, which prompted his decision.

“That kind of hurt and it kind of made me think a little bit,” he said.

He also said that he was attacked by progressive Democrats in New Jersey for supporting the idea of flying the American flag without restrictions and supporting the phrase “In God We Trust.”

“That’s a very Republican thing, by the way,” Trump replied.

Van Drew said that he was a capitalist and a believer in American exceptionalism, something that Democrats were increasingly critical of. He also criticized the proposed “new green deal” by radical elements in the party.

“I believe with what you’re doing with the economy, it’s a better stronger economy,” he said to Trump.

Well looky here, remember when it was leaked that Obama told Joe, “you don’t have to this, run for president”, well hmm Obama sends his doctor out to dispute Biden’s health, it’s pretty bad when the President has to sneakily tell the world Biden’s not qualified. I suspect Obama thinks if he gets anywhere near the office of the president he’ll accidentally tell the world what Obama really did. Oh he also says Bloomberg is qualified

Obama's former doc says Biden 'not a healthy guy' after reviewing medical info: Report

One of President Obama's former doctors reportedly disputed a letter released by former Vice President Joe Biden's campaign in which the former vice president's own doctor praised the 77-year-old presidential candidate as a "healthy, vigorous" man.

“He’s not a healthy guy,” said Dr. David Scheiner, who previously served as Obama's physician. According to the Washington Examiner, Scheiner read Biden's medical history and said the presidential candidate "has a lot of issues."

“He’s not in bad shape for his age, but I wouldn't say he’s in outstanding health. Could I guarantee he won't have issues for the next four years? He has a lot of issues that are just sort of sitting there," Scheiner said.

Scheiner previously told the Examiner that Biden "looked frail" during the first Democratic primary debate. "I sort of got the feeling he wasn’t very strong. It was similar to the feeling I got when Republicans started attacking Mueller so fiercely," he said.

Questions about Biden’s health and age have repeatedly come up since even before the former vice president declared his candidacy in April. In September, Biden committed to publicly releasing his medical records before the Iowa caucuses, to try and put to rest concerns over whether he was fit enough to take on President Trump in a general election campaign – and whether he would be up to the rigors and stress of serving as president.

On Tuesday, the Biden campaign released a statement from Dr. Kevin O'Connor, who served as White House physician to Biden for several years.

"Vice President Biden is a healthy, vigorous 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of the presidency, to include those as chief executive, head of state and commander in chief,” Dr. Kevin O’Connor said.

In his report, O’Connor said that Biden is currently being treated for non-valvular atrial-fibrillation, better known as Afib, which is an irregular heartbeat. He said Biden is also being treated for hyperlipidemia, which is an abnormally high concentration of fats or lipids in the blood, as well as gastroesophageal reflux, a digestive disorder that occurs when acidic stomach juices, or food and fluids, back up from the stomach into the esophagus. And he noted that Biden – as many Americans do – suffers from seasonal allergies.

“For these, he takes three common prescription medications and two common over-the-counter medications,” O’Connor said. His report listed Biden's weight as 178 pounds and his height as 5 feet, 11.65 inches.

Biden's campaign did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.

Scheiner also commented on former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's health. Bloomberg, also 77, threw his hat into the 2020 race late and provoked speculation that he thought 2020 frontrunners like Biden couldn't cut it. Bloomberg previously released his medical history with his doctor describing his health as "outstanding."

“'Outstanding health'? With that history, I wouldn’t call it outstanding health,” Scheiner said, referring to the description as "hyperbole." Bloomberg's doctor had disclosed that the former mayor was receiving treatment for arthritis and heartburn. The letter added that Bloomberg takes a blood thinner to treat atrial fibrillation and another medication to control his cholesterol.
