POTUS: "Not that USA today is a friend to me, because they're not". 14 min 35 sec into video

That statement bothers me a lot. And illustrates well, in my mind at least, the depth and magnitude of the problems we face in going about draining the swamp. Not because USA Today is part of the mass media. Although that certainly is a huge issue. But rather because POTUS pointed out this particular publication. You see, I've been watching that paper for a long time. I followed it especially intensely in the days and years following September 11th. And I've developed some beliefs about their news gathering and publication decisions, methods, and sources. When I reconcile that statement by the President today against my long held ideas about the publication, well…..I can fit Trump's statement into my existing model. But afterward I don't like the way it looks to me. Not one little bit.
