Pence was the only member of the House to come out and greet the Tea Party patriots who showed up on the National Mall. I was there. He spoke with us, was very encouraging. Struck me as a true patriot and a good man.
We did. After the rally on the mall, we went to visit all our State's Reps to encourage them to reject the proposed "Slaughter Rule" to get Obamacare passed).
We saw him outside on of the buildings on the sidewalk (6-10 ft away from us) and I called out to him. He immediately came over to us. We introduced ourselves (me and my sister).
He asked where we were from. We talked with him for about 15 minutes.
