-if majority then impeachment articles are sent to the Senate for a trial
-the Supreme Court presides and must access the validity of the charges/articles before Senate considers
-Senate then puts on a trial where evidence is heard from the House as prosecutors and the Presidents defense team. The Senators cannot talk or comment about the process until the trail is concluded
-at the conclusion of the trail the Senate votes on where the President (or subject of impeachment) should be removed from office
