Virginia Citizens Defense League Issues Important Statement

As the tension mounts in Virginia with tyrannical representatives and a governor who doesn’t care for the law seeking to confiscate the people’s guns and even use the national guard against them, the Virginia Citizens Defense League has issued an important statement concerning their upcoming Capitol Lobby Day, and clarifying their various protest days in Virginia.

Here’s VCDL’s statement followed by actual resolve and results in pictures of what they are doing across the state.

Monday, January 20, is Virginia Citizens Defense League’s Lobby Day. It is not VCDL’s Protest Day.

There is a distinct difference between the two.

Lobby Day is about, well, lobbying – sending a message to the General Assembly and to the Governor, Attorney General, and the Lt. Governor. That message is simple: no more gun control that in any way, shape, or form negatively affects law-abiding gun owners. Bills that go after criminals or bills that are beneficial to gun owners are fine.

While there have been some verbal threats by the Democrat leadership to push major gun control down the throats of Virginia’s gun owners and some very bad bills already filed to back up that threat, NOTHING has happened yet and won’t until after January 8th 2020. And perhaps it won’t happen at all if we press hard enough.

The second amendment sanctuary movement, with its absolutely massive turnouts of gun owners, is sending a deafening message to lawmakers ahead of Lobby Day. On top of that, we now believe the size of the crowd on Lobby Day could be absolutely incredible, possibly historic if gun owners from around the state follow through and attend as we believe they will. You will absolutely want to be a part of this!

Militias

Various militia groups from Virginia and nearby states have graciously volunteered to provide security. With a large Capitol, Richmond, and State police presence, not to mention enough citizens armed with handguns to take over a modern mid-sized country, we have the security base covered nicely. That said, we welcome our militia brothers and sisters to be part of making the day a success! Some militia groups are looking to take canned food donations during Lobby Day and deliver them to a Richmond Food Bank. Please contribute.

Long Guns

If you are asking how you can help with VCDL’s mission, carrying long guns at Lobby Day is not helpful – it is a distraction. Virginia Citizens Defense League’s important messages inevitably get lost as the press rushes to get pictures of anyone carrying an AR or AK. The stories then become about the rifle, not Virginia Citizens Defense League’s agenda. You can set your watch by it. Long guns are not easy to carry in a crowd, either. VCDL needs its voice heard loud and clear in order to able to stop the onslaught of gun-control bills.

Laws you need to know for carry in Richmond

You can’t have a magazine in a centerfire rifle or pistol that holds more than 20 rounds unless you have a Concealed Handgun Permit (CHP). You must also have a Virginia CHP if the centerfire rifle or pistol has a threaded barrel or a folding stock. ISIS Cells Storm Gas Field In Eastern Homs, Kill Guards & Workers

Several Syrian service members and civilian workers were reportedly killed when ISIS terrorists stormed a gas well in the eastern Homs countryside.

ISIS attacked the gas well, which is located in Wadi al-Dhubiyat between the town of al-Sukhnah and the T3 station, late on December 19. The terrorist group’s fighters capture the well for a few hours before being pushed away by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA).

According to several pro-government sources, six of the well’s guards were killed by ISIS fighters in the course of the attack.

The terrorist group also abducted five civilian workers and executed them a few hours later. The victims were identified as Majod al-Samir, Mohamad al-Alwi, Khalil al-Jaber, Fuad Mohamad and Ahmad Haj Qassim.

Earlier this week, ISIS fighters attacked the strategic M20 highway, which links Deir Ezzor with Homs. The attack was foiled by the SAA and the National Defense Forces (NDF).

The recent terrorist group attacks were launched from the Homs desert. Hundreds of the terrorist group’s fighters and commanders are reportedly hiding there.

By launch such attacks, ISIS is likely attempting to regain momentum in central Syria. The army has so far succeeded in preventing this.

Soros Group Has Given $1.5 Million To Organization Closely Linked To Fusion GPS

A group George Soros operates gave $1.5 million in 2017 and 2018 to an organization closely linked to Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele.

Fund for Policy Reform, which is part of Soros’ network of nonprofit groups, made the contributions to The Democracy Integrity Project, or TDIP.

TDIP was formed in January 2017 to continue investigating possible ties between Donald Trump and Russia, as well as Russian meddling in Western elections.

Fusion GPS and Steele are best known for their work on the Trump dossier, which came under heavy scrutiny in a Justice Department watchdog report released on Dec. 9.

A nonprofit group progressive billionaire George Soros controls contributed $1.5 million in 2017 and 2018 to The Democracy Integrity Project, an organization that has worked closely with Fusion GPS and dossier author Christopher Steele to investigate President Donald Trump and Russian meddling in Western elections.

Soros’ group, Fund for Policy Reform, Inc., gave a $1 million grant to TDIP in 2017 and followed up with a $500,000 contribution in 2018, according to a database at Open Society Foundations, Soros’ network of nonprofits.

Soros is listed as chairman and director of Fund for Policy Reform, which contributes heavily to left-leaning groups like Planned Parenthood and the American Civil Liberties Union.

Both of the TDIP grants were for general operating expenses, according to the database. It has been previously reported that Soros gave $1 million to TDIP, but the additional $500,000 has not been publicized.

TDIP is the brainchild of Fusion GPS founder Glenn Simpson and Daniel Jones, a former staffer on the Senate Intelligence Committee known best for producing a report on the CIA’s torture program following 9/11. (RELATED: Soros-Backed Group Paid Fusion GPS, Steele $3.8 Million)

Simpson and his Fusion GPS co-founder Peter Fritsch wrote in a book in November that Jones formed TDIP in late January 2017 after he and Simpson met to discuss how to continue investigating Trump’s possible ties to Russia, as well as Russian interference in Western elections.

TDIP’s activities and funding sources have trickled out slowly over the past two years.

House Intelligence Committee Republicans revealed in a report released on April 28, 2018 that Jones, who once worked for Democratic California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, told the FBI in March 2017 about his newly formed organization. He said that he had secured $50 million in funding from seven to 10 wealthy progressives in New York and California and was working with Steele and Fusion GPS.

Merkel's Response to US Nord Stream 2 Sanctions Tantamount to ‘Declaration of War' on Trump - Bild

The US Senate passed a $738 billion defence bill for the 2020 fiscal year on 17 December that includes punitive sanctions against Nord Stream 2 and its European partners, with the Trump administration recently stepping up pressure on Berlin to abandon the pipeline project, arguing it would make Europe energy-dependent on Russia.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s reaction to Washington’s looming sanctions against the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline is tantamount to a "clear declaration of war" on US President Donald Trump, writes the German tabloid Bild.

"Merkel will not tolerate the United States continuing to undermine the gas pipeline project, which enjoys her government’s support," the article says.

At the same time, the publication voices confidence that nothing could undermine the construction of the pipeline at its current stage, and it will soon be successfully completed.
