The ship being hit is NOT the LEGEND! The LEGEND is a Spirit Class ship and the hull design is not that of the Spirit Class. Looks moar like the LEGEND hit the GLORY.
Carnival does NOT allow bad press to be disseminated!! Was once on a Carnival ship that hit the dock in St. Lucia. There was a hole at the waterline about the size of a VW. We had 3 days at the dock to repair it, which amounted to scraps of metal they were able to gather on the island (which is very small and impoverished). With a crappy patch, we beat feet doing 22knots to get back to Ft Laud on time… and they pulled in to port and purposely docked the ship with the damage side out so that arriving passengers didn't see the hole. They cruised like that (with the large patch) for 2 months before they took it in to dry dock for real repairs.

(the grounding and sinking of a boat a few years ago in Europe was CUNNARD Cruise Lines- Carnival owns them too)
