Operation Crossfire Hurricane is the FBI’s codename for a surveillance and intelligence operation against the campaign of candidate Donald Trump, which began 100 days before the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

We appreciate the irony of the FBI’s project code name, which coincidentally uses candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton’s initials, HRC, in reverse:
