Barr talks about the police and Soros funded prosecutors

Attorney General William Barr has warned that liberal billionaire George Soros has been bankrolling radical prosecutor candidates in cities across the country.

In an interview that aired Friday on "The Story," Barr said that the Hungarian-American activist is likely relying on the routinely low turnout in local primary elections to help his candidates win.

"There's this recent development [where] George Soros has been coming in, in largely Democratic primaries where there has not been much voter turnout and putting in a lot of money to elect people who are not very supportive of law enforcement and don't view the office as bringing to trial and prosecuting criminals but pursuing other social agendas," Barr told Martha MacCallum.

"They have started to win in a number of cities and they have, in my view, not given the proper support to the police."

Barr warned that if the trend continues, it will lead to more violent crime. However, he pushed back on claims police officers will "withdraw" from communities that elect or install left-wing prosecutors who are not amenable to normal policing.

Instead, Barr said the process of electing these prosecutors will likely cause law enforcement officers to consider whether the leadership in their municipality "has their back."

"They can either stop policing or they can move to a jurisdiction more hospitable," he said. "We could find ourselves in a position that communities that are not supporting the police may not get the police protection they need."

Last month, two Virginia prosecutorial candidates ousted incumbents in local Democratic primaries – after Soros' Justice and Public Safety PAC poured nearly a million dollars into their campaigns.

He backed Parisa Dehghani-Tafti to beat Arlington County Commonwealth's Attorney Theo Stamos, and supported former Justice Department employee Steve Descano in his race against Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Raymond Morrogh. Campaign finance reports show Dehghani-Tafti received $583,000 and Descano received $392,000 just from that PAC. Meanwhile, Stamos and Morrogh raised $162,000 and $242,000, respectively, for their entire campaigns.

The money gave Tafti and Descano a significant financial advantage over the incumbents, despite their lack of experience. The Washington Post reported that while the two challengers have never prosecuted a case in a state court, they beat candidates with more than 60 years of experience between them.

Both were also boosted by Democratic former Gov. Terry McAuliffe, who said Stamos and Morrogh had pushed back against his effort to restore voting rights of convicted felons after they serve their time. But supporters of the incumbents said the role that money played was significant.

Tucker’s monologue,

Tucker Carlson: After 3 years of screeching about the moral necessity of impeachment – Now Dems don't want it

https://video.foxnews.com/v/6117203844001

Now, you can mock the mindless conformity of what you just saw. But honestly, you’ve got to admire the discipline that a moment like that must have required.

Don’t worry – it was never about saving the republic or preserving the Constitution or any of that heavy stuff we told you before. Those long speeches about the framers? Just kidding, say Democrats

These are people, by and large, with disorganized and chaotic personal lives. That’s why they're leftists in the first place – because they’re deeply unhappy. They don’t make their beds. They hate their dads.

But when it comes to political talking points, suddenly they’re Germanic in their efficiency.

For a moment Wednesday night, though, the mask slipped. When the impeachment resolution finally passed, onlookers began to cheer. Pelosi had to remind them to shut up. "Yay!" "Shhh … Ixnay on the eering-chay."

The Washington Post had trouble with that message, too. They just couldn’t keep a straight face after Wednesday night’s vote went through. The newspaper’s "congressional reporting team" went out to dinner to celebrate what they called, "Merry Impeachmas."

That’s the one holiday they celebrate. The Post tweeted about it but later deleted the tweet. Apparently, it wasn’t solemn enough – Pelosi’s orders.

By Thursday morning, though, the embargo on authentic emotion had finally ended. The mission had been accomplished, and Democrats were finally allowed to break character and be themselves, if only briefly.

Anons I wonder how many days in jail we’d get if we did the same thing? Remember they want to lock up Flynn for years lying to the FBI

Yeah this thing where the government refuses to prosecute their own for something so illegal, even the judge said he’s lucky:

On November 1, 2018, Tolson emailed an FBI official and requested a meeting to discuss an 'urgent' matter. Meeting later that day, Tolson handed the official an envelope with the emails and stated that they might be 'illegal.'

Tolson left the FBI and agreed to forfeit two phones and two computers to avoid contact with Burkman.

He was sentenced to seven days in jail and a $500 fine on Friday, according to Politico.

At sentencing, Tolson declared that he acted out of a desire 'to protect Director Mueller' from the false allegations.

'It was because of the press conference, your honor,' he said.

This is actually a very serious offense,' U.S. District Court Judge Leonie Brinkema said. 'You're lucky. Your wife is lucky. The government could have prosecuted her as well

Fantastic and possible. There was a debate in the Bible when “Jesus ask who say you is Jon the Baptist?”

And they answered, “John the Baptist. But others say, Elijah, and others, that one of the prophets of old has risen.”

Many biblical scholars and researchers say that the idea of reincarnation was removed from the Bible by the council of Nicea that banned and anathametized many older books if the Bible
