Massive Asteroid to Zoom Past Earth Just After Christmas
The asteroid will be closest to Earth on December 26 at 2:54 a.m. EST, NASA said. They didn't mention that there is also a solar eclipse that will be at maximum at 12:13am EST on December 26th.
The annular phase of this solar eclipse is visible from Saudi Arabia, Oman, southern India, and parts of Indonesia, weather permitting. In most of Asia, parts of North/East Africa, and North/West Australia, people can see a partial eclipse.
