This winter solstice marks a turning point. Instead of the days becoming ever shorter, they begin to become ever longer - at least in the northern hemisphere. (If I correctly understand this.) Dear Lord, our maker and maker of all things seen and unseen, let this time of celebration also mark a turning point in the struggle between good and evil. Please lend us increased wisdom and courage, may we effectively use the tools/weapons you have provided for us: sword of truth, etc.
I am called today to have a heart for our Q community around the globe - may the Lord hear our prayers, see that we are working toward common goals and look favorably on our efforts. We do not want war, we do not want any more deception, we do not want our leaders to abuse His gifts to us and our gifts to each other…we want what is right and good according to HIS word.
