>Why are the [2] articles being held by Pelosi?

Because wrap-up smears aren't about proving anything, just destruction of character to be repeatedly referenced later. The point is to create a cloud, whether or not it rains.

>Will holding actually impact the decision of the Senate?

>No.

She wants to act as a blockade so they don't get the option. Anything they do to circumvent this will be used against them in a kangaroo court of public opinion.

>Will holding actually provide a better scenario [public opinion] to [D]s?

>No.

They aren't concerned with the public. This is about (((them))) and always has been.

>Will holding actually 'sway' select Senators to change their vote?

>No.

Q, I hate to argue, but it may push some to break ranks. At least one would hope.

>When blackmail and threats no longer work…….

The only option left is to cross that red line into the land of no return. Quitting is not an option.

>Why are the [2] articles being held by Pelosi?

Because they would put an end to the smear. She knows the Dems won't win the senate even if they attempted to drag it out to the campaign.

>What happens when the articles of impeachment are sent from the House to the Senate?

The jig is up.

>Can the Senate conduct 'other' business during this time?

>No.

Trump is winning too much and too fast for them! Any breaks must be applied! And heaven forbid something happen that would require the Senate's attention during the proceedings!

>What 'value' might exist by holding the articles?

Uncertainty and the threat of them being passed to the Senate to delay something that actually matters. Such as needing a new SCOTUS Justice for whatever reason.

>How long do Senate impeachment trials normally take?

Historically, a while.

>What statements have been made re: timing?

Less than a day, immediate vote, etc etc.

According to GEOTUS, the Senate could do something in as little as 15 minutes.

>Think 'fast-tracking'.

How DARE they?!

>What statements have been made by Chairman Graham re: Senate FISA hearing(s) & witnesses?

He's going to be impartial and potentially have no "witnesses".

WHY IS PELOSI HOLDING THE [2] ARTICLES OF IMPEACHMENT?

Because the Senate COULD run a full trial full of witnesses that would spell the end for the Dems for all time. And if Obama is wrapped up in this and gets impeached, then a lot of things they pushed for would be undone. Can't have that!
